Hi. I’m Rosy.

Being a Writer was a dream I kept to myself ever since I was a little girl who quietly journaled everywhere. Reading and writing have been my jam ever since I can remember. I was the weird kid that chose books over watching television. Now, I'm the adult weirdo with the same habits. Words are my love language.

As a teenager and young adult, I wrote poetry and kept my poems in a private book I dared not share with anyone. In 2015, I got gutsy and decided to share my writing for the purpose of healing and sharing with the world that we are not alone in our feelings and circumstances. I launched my online blog and began writing for online publications. In 2017, I published my first novel. In 2020, my debut novel was published in Spanish. My writing career feeds my soul and is truly a dream come true. When I'm not writing, speaking, or leading workshops, I work with people as a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Health is my other passion. Living a balanced and healthy life is what I strive for and work at intentionally, everyday.

I love my large, blended, unconventional family.  They make my world turn and my head spin and my heart beat. I love my friends. I have a small, tight knit circle that I love and that make me feel loved. My friends are my family. I love food. I love to cook and host. Food is always at the center of any good gathering. I love experimenting with food and feeding my loved ones. I love my community. Although I love my alone time to meditate, read, and reflect, I love people. I believe in embracing people and participating in my community. Volunteer work, shopping local, supporting small businesses, sharing resources, and attending community events is my thing. There’s something so good about being a small part of a big circle that is fulfilling to me. I love, love. This includes actions towards others as well as self-love through self care practices.
